Paleoctenodiscus campaniurnus
Taxonomy
Paleoctenodiscus campaniurnus was named by Blake (1988). Its type specimen is holotype IGM 4290, Universidad Nacional Autonoma de Mexico and is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Asteroidea, Turbidite bed, Baja California, which is in a Campanian deep-water shale in Mexico.
