Nicholsites tozeri
Taxonomy
Nicomedites tozeri was named by Bucher (1988). Its type specimen is USNM 427247, a shell, and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Favret Canyon HB 175, Augusta Mountains, which is in a Pelsonian marine limestone in the Favret Formation of Nevada.
It was recombined as Nicholsites tozeri by Bucher (1992).
