Taxonomy
Pseudodanubites dixiensis was named by Bucher (1992). Its type specimen is USNM 444120 and is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Favret Canyon HB 2, Augusta Mountains, which is in a Bithynian offshore limestone/siltstone in Nevada.
