Taxonomy
Arctohungarites tregoi was named by Bucher (1992). Its type specimen is USNM 444105 and is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Coyote Canyon crest HB 136, North Humboldt Range, which is in a Bithynian offshore limestone/siltstone in the Prida Formation of Nevada.
