Metussuria waageni
Taxonomy
Ussuria waageni was named by Hyatt and Smith (1905). It is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Wood Canyon, Aspen Range, which is in a Smithian carbonate limestone in the Thaynes Formation of Idaho. It is the type species of Metussuria.
It was recombined as Metussuria waageni by Spath (1934), Kummel and Steele (1962), Nichols and Silberling (1979).
