Taxonomy
Septaliphoria lungchiangensis was named by Jin et al. (1976). Its type specimen is NIGP 28775 and is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Longjiang East Hills Fdt22, Tingri County, which is in a Bajocian/Tithonian marine horizon in China.
