Taxonomy
Rhactorhynchia lauta was named by Jin et al. (1976). Its type specimen is NIGP 28777 and is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Nieniexiongla JSB78, Nyalam County, which is in a Bajocian marine horizon in the Nieniexiongla Formation of China.
