Productus ussuricus was named by Fredericks (1924).

It was recombined as Linoproductus ussuricus by Kashirtsev (1959); it was recombined as Anidanthus ussuricus by Nakamura (1972), Sarycheva (1977), Licharew and Kotlyar (1978), Lee and Gu (1980), Tazawa and Hasegawa (2007), Tazawa (2008), Tazawa (2008).
