Taxonomy
Streblotrypa nyalamensis was named by Yang and Xia (1975). Its type specimen is NIGP 23252 and is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Naxing Section JSB5, Nyalam County, which is in a Changhsingian marine horizon in the Selong Formation of China.
