Taxonomy
Parastenodiscus robermani was named by Kiseleva (1976). Its type specimen is PTGU 187/30 and is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Smol'noye Village, Anuchino District, Primorye, which is in a Capitanian marine horizon in the Chandalaz Formation of the Russian Federation.
