Taxonomy
Goniocladia regularis was named by Lu (1982). Its type specimen is NIGP 38555 and is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Cape Joseph Henry, Block LB-2, Ellesmere Island, which is in an Artinskian carbonate limestone in Canada.
