Taxonomy
Colossolacis plicata was named by Schrammen (1910). It is not extant. Its type locality is Teutonia Nord quarry, Late Campanian, Misburg, which is in a Campanian offshore shelf marl/limestone in Germany. It is the type species of Colossolacis.
