Phaedrysmocheilus idahoensis
Taxonomy
Pleuronautilus idahoensis was named by Kummel (1953). Its type specimen is USNM 107079 and is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Hot Springs, Columbites Zone, which is in a Spathian offshore shale in the Thaynes Formation of Idaho.
It was recombined as Phaedrysmocheilus idahoensis by Schastlivtseva (1988), Brayard et al. (2019).
