Tunisiacrinus imitator
Taxonomy
Tunisiacrinus imitator was named by Lane (1979). Its type specimen is USNM 251282, a calyx, and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Locality J18, Halk el Djemel, Djebel Tebaga, which is in a Wordian perireef or subreef shale in the Djebel Tebaga Biohermal Complex Formation of Tunisia. It is the type species of Tunisiacrinus.
