Waagenites deplanata

Taxonomy
Chonetes deplanata was named by Waagen (1884). It is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Kafirkot, Middle Productus-limestone, Khisor Range, which is in a Wuchiapingian carbonate limestone in the Wargal Formation of Pakistan.

It was recombined as Chonetes (Dienerella) deplanata by Reed (1944); it was recombined as Waagenites deplanata by Lee and Gu (1980); it was recombined as Rugaria deplanata by Yang (1991).
