Taxonomy
Buccinum gossardii was named by Nyst (1836). It is a 3D body fossil.

It was recombined as Northia gossardi by Janssen (1963); it was recombined as Keepingia gossardi by Nuttal and Cooper (1973); it was recombined as Keepingia gossardii by Marquet et al. (2008).
