Virgaspongia ichnata
Taxonomy
Virgaspongia ichnata was named by Rigby and Manger (1994). It is not extant. Its type locality is Arnett, which is in a Morrowan marine shale in the Bloyd Formation of Arkansas. It is the type species of Virgaspongia.
