Kionaster petersonae
Taxonomy
Kionaster petersonae was named by Blake and Portell (2011). Its type specimen is Holotype UF 148379 ,Paratypes UF 74923, 76112 and is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is TU 547 - Fourmile Creek, which is in a Burdigalian marine marl/sandstone in the Chipola Formation of Florida. It is the type species of Kionaster.
