Neochonetes (Zhongyingia) zhongyingensis
Taxonomy
Neochonetes zhongyingensis was named by Liao (1980). Its type specimen is NIGP 43537 and is a mold. Its type locality is Zhongying Section Bed 26 (QZ-8), Qinglong County, which is in a Changhsingian coastal siltstone/sandstone in China.
It was recombined as Neochonetes (Zhongyingia) zhongyingensis by Shen and Archbold (2002), Tazawa (2008), Shen and Zhang (2008), Zhang et al. (2013), Shen et al. (2017), Wu et al. (2019), He et al. (2019), Wu et al. (2022).
