Taxonomy
Uvacoelia schellwieni was named by Kügel (1987). It is not extant. Its type locality is Nassfeld, which is in a Kasimovian/Gzhelian open shallow subtidal wackestone in the Auernig Formation of Austria. It is the type species of Uvacoelia.
