Taxonomy
Dyoros lamellosa was named by Liu and Waterhouse (1985). Its type specimen is CCGBH57 and is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Xi Ujimqin Qi, Section 12, Bed 5, Sample P12H1, which is in a Wordian carbonate sandstone in the Xiujimqinqi Formation of China.
