Prismopora lanceolata was named by Liu (1980). It is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Yindongzi, Dashizhai Fm, Chaoyangwang Gongshe, Bailinyouqi, which is in a Roadian marine horizon in the Dashizhai Formation of China.
