Taxonomy
Ingelarella etheridgei was named by McClung (1978). Its type specimen is UNE 14263 and is a mold. Its type locality is UNE L905, Rail Cutting, Branxton-Cessnock Road, which is in a Roadian marine siliciclastic in the Elderslie Formation of Australia.
