Brachiolites labrosus was named by Smith (1848). It is not extant.

It was recombined as Plocoscyphia labrosa by Smith (1883); it was recombined as Plectascus labrosus by Schrammen (1912); it was recombined as Exanthesis labrosus by Reid (1962).
