Daubichites brevicostatus
Taxonomy
Gastrioceras brevicostatum was named by Miller and Cline (1934). Its type specimen is SUI 709 and is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Raymond Canyon, Goniatite beds, Sublette Range, Lincoln County, which is in a Roadian offshore shale in the Meade Peak Formation of Idaho.
It was recombined as Daubichites brevicostatus by Mikesh et al. (1988).
