Krotovia oregonensis
Taxonomy
Avonia oregonensis was named by Cooper (1957). Its type specimen is USNM 125323 and is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is UO 2204-3, Coyote Butte, Grindstone-Twelvemile Creek area, which is in a Kungurian marine limestone/sandstone in the Coyote Butte Formation of Oregon.
It was recombined as Krotovia oregonensis by Bamber and Waterhouse (1971).
