Barinasuchus arveloi
Taxonomy
Barinasuchus arveloi was named by Paolillo and Linares (2007). Its type specimen is MAAT-0260, a partial skull, and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Quebrada Socó, which is in a Miocene terrestrial sandstone in the Parángula Formation of Venezuela.
