Taxonomy
Goniocladia vesiculosa was named by Kruchinina (1973). Its type specimen is VNIGRI 78/916 and is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Sula River, Komichan horizon, Northern Timan Mountains, which is in an Artinskian marine horizon in the Komichan Formation of the Russian Federation.
