Neopopanoceras bowmani
Taxonomy
Stacheoceras bowmani was named by Böse (1919). It is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Near junction of Road and Gilliam canyons, which is in a Roadian carbonate limestone in the Road Canyon Formation of Texas.
It was recombined as Popanoceras bowmani by Plummer and Scott (1937), Miller and Furnish (1940); it was recombined as Tauroceras bowmani by Leonova (2002); it was recombined as Neopopanoceras bowmani by Zhou and Glenister (2009).
