Desmidodictyon exoticum
Taxonomy
Desmidodictyon exoticum was named by Nestor et al. (2010). It is not extant. Its type locality is A0505b Jupiter-24, Anticosti Island, which is in a Rhuddanian deep subtidal limestone/shale in the Merrimack Formation of Canada. It is the type species of Desmidodictyon.
