Taxonomy
Cystodictya obrutschewi was named by Nekhoroshev (1935). It is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Srednekolymsk Town, Kolyma Massif, which is in a Wordian marine siliciclastic in the Omolon Formation of the Russian Federation.
It was recombined as Timanodictya obrutschewi by Morozova (1970) and Morozova (1981).
