Streblochondria guangdongensis was named by Mou and Liu (1993). It is a mold. Its type locality is Jiahe Area, Euchondria-Permoperna assemblage, Guangzhou City, which is in a Capitanian coastal siliciclastic in the Douling Formation of China.
