Hayasakapecten sasakii
Taxonomy
Aviculopecten sasakii was named by Murata (1964). Its type specimen is IGPS 85730, a valve (Right valve), and it is a mold. Its type locality is Shigeji-zawa IGPS Mi117, Kami-yasse, Kesennuma City, which is in a Roadian marine slate in the Kanokura Formation of Japan.
It was recombined as Hayasakapecten sasakii by Nakazawa and Newell (1968).
