Taxonomy
Pseudozygopleura (Pseudozygopleura) pagoda was named by Knight (1930) [Pseudozygopleura (Pseudozygopleura) pagoda Knight 1930]. Its type specimen is YPM 12968 and is not a trace fossil. Its type locality is SL-1. Headwaters of Feefee Creek, north of Olive St. & west of Lindberg Blvd., 1.5 km northwest of Stratmann (Olivette), which is in a Moscovian offshore shale in the Appanoose Formation of Missouri.

It was recombined as Pseudozygopleura pagoda by Hoare and Sturgeon (1985).
