Platyconcha dunlopiana
Taxonomy
Platyconcha dunlopiana was named by Longstaff (1933) [= Loxonema brevis Dunlop 1915 pl. 23 f. 7–8 non M’Coy 1844 p. 30 pl. 3 f. 2]. It is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Craigenglen, which is in a Visean terrestrial limestone in the Lawmuir Formation of the United Kingdom. It is the type species of Platyconcha.
