Teilhardosaurus carbonarius
Taxonomy
Teilhardosaurus carbonarius was named by Shikama (1947). Its type specimen is Museum of Natural Resources of South Manchuria, Dairen, China specimen, a mandible (Anterior part of right mandible, with teeth.), and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Xinqiu (Hsinchiu) coal mine, which is in an Aptian/Albian terrestrial coal/shale in the Fuxin Formation of China. It is the type species of Teilhardosaurus.
