Hyphalosaurus baitaigouensis

Taxonomy
Hyphalosaurus baitaigouensis was named by Ji et al. (2004). Its type specimen is CAGS-IG-03-7-02, a partial skeleton (incomplete skull and partial postcranial skeleton), and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Baicaigou, Toutai, which is in a Barremian/Aptian lacustrine shale/mudstone in the Yixian Formation of China.
