Taxonomy
Halloporina severozemelica was named by Nekhorosheva (2002). Its type specimen is CNIGR 4/13009 and is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Storjnaya River, loc. 49, October Revolution Island, Severnaya Zemlya, which is in an Ordovician marine horizon in the Ozernaya Formation of the Russian Federation.
