Scythentolium tirolicum
Taxonomy
Pecten (Leptochondria) tirolicus was named by Bittner (1895). It is a mold. Its type locality is St. Cassian (K.K. Geol Reichsanstalt coll), which is in a Julian carbonate limestone in the Cassian Formation of Italy. It is the type species of Scythentolium.
It was recombined as Pecten tirolicus by Ogilvie Gordon (1927); it was recombined as Scythentolium tirolicum by Neri and Posenato (1985).
