Taxonomy
Inyoschwagerina linderae was named by Stevens and Stone (2009). Its type specimen is USNM 534934 and is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is S-1829, Conglomerate Mesa, which is in an Artinskian marine limestone in the Santa Rosa Flat Formation of California.
