Taxonomy
Parafusulina complexa was named by Stevens and Stone (2009). Its type specimen is USNM 534939 and is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is S-1709, Conglomerate Mesa, which is in a Kungurian marine limestone in the Santa Rosa Flat Formation of California.
