Shikamaia akasakaensis
Taxonomy
Shikamaia akasakaensis was named by Ozaki (1968). It is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Kasumi Quarry, Kinshozan, Akasaka, Gifu Prefecture, which is in a Roadian marine lime mudstone in the Akasaka Formation of Japan. It is the type species of Shikamaia.
