Horridonia horrida

Taxonomy
Productus horridus was named by Sowerby (1822). It is not a trace fossil. Its type locality is Derbyshire (near Bolsover), which is in a Wuchiapingian carbonate limestone in the Ford Formation of the United Kingdom.

It was recombined as Producta horrida by Sowerby (1829), Phillips (1834); it was recombined as Pustula horrida by Buddington and Chapin (1929); it was recombined as Horridonia horrida by Gobbett (1961), Czarniecki et al. (1965), Kazmierczak (1967), Pattison (1970), Lee and Gu (1980), Chen and Shi (2006).
