Afghanospirifer burgutschensis
Taxonomy
Afghanospirifer burgutschensis was named by Plodowski (1968). Its type specimen is SMF 25010 and is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Burgutsch-Tal, Namur, Dasht-e-Nawar, which is in a Namurian marine horizon in Afghanistan. It is the type species of Afghanospirifer.
