Taxonomy
Leioclema dozierense was named by Moore (1940). Its type specimen is KUMIP 30671 and is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Antelope Buttes, Collinsworth County (Dozier Lens, Newell 5), which is in a Capitanian paralic sandstone in Texas.
