Taxonomy
Rhabdactinia regulara was named by Rigby et al. (1994). Its type specimen is STZ21-1A and is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is STZ21, Shitouzai, Ziyun County, which is in a Changhsingian reef, buildup or bioherm limestone in the Changxing Formation of China.
