Taxonomy
Paralioclema formosum was named by Morozova (1969). Its type specimen is PIN 2609/1 and is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is NW Caucasus, Skirda Range, which is in a Norian marine limestone in the Russian Federation.
It was recombined as Arcticopora formosum by Nakrem and Ernst (2008).
