Taxonomy
Criccophorina praelonga was named by Mostler (1986). It is not extant. Its type locality is Großer Zlambachgraben, Leislingbach, which is in a Rhaetian offshore marl/limestone in the Zlambach Formation of Austria. It is the type species of Criccophorina.
