Cuyosuchus huenei
Taxonomy
Cuyosuchus huenei was named by Reig (1961). Its type specimen is MCNAM 2669, a partial skeleton (Incomplete postcranial skeleton), and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Bajada de la Obligacion, Cerro Bayo, which is in a Carnian/Norian terrestrial siliciclastic in the Cacheuta Formation of Argentina. It is the type species of Cuyosuchus.
