Taxonomy
Chonetina tcharensis was named by Afanasjeva (1977). Its type specimen is PIN 2835/160 and is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Urul'tun River Outcrop 222/1, Kolyma Massif, which is in a Cisuralian marine siliciclastic in the Russian Federation.
